Activating bodies, minds and hearts for positive transformation.
The Groove Dancefloor is a simple, amazingly fun and dynamically interactive group dance experience.
We unite in a single move or rhythm but you get to dance it in your own unique way. There’s no right or left, no front or back and certainly no right or wrong way to DANCE - just your way, which is perfect!
We believe dancing is part of being human and our bodies were designed for movement. GROOVE inspires creative self expression while being totally unified as a group through simple rhythms and moves that anyone can do….and it’s kinda magical.
Our modo is come as you are!
Everyone’s welcome on the DANCEfloor. No need for fancy clothes, footwear or previous dance experience. You see, we’ve all got an inner GROOVE, we’ll just help you find it and dance it.
For us, it’s all about the MUSIC - it’s the foundation of what we do. Expect to be groovin to all kinds of incredible music featuring a variety of genres, styles, cultures and languages. We carefully hand select each song as we understand the power music has to move and inspire us.
This simple and intelligent concept Created by Misty Tripoli approaches dance and movement in an unconventional way. There’s no follow the leader, fancy steps or technique. GROOVE is all about coming together for the joy of dance - to get completely lost in the music and share that experience with others.
Misty’s Method has quickly spread across the globe, creating a global community of passionate GROOVErs who inspire others to dance with heart and soul. GROOVE & Grow is honoured to be in collaboration with Misty Tripoli and The World GROOVE Movement.
No one cares what you look like and if they do, it’s their problem.
Your way of dancing is the right way.
Nobody can do it for you - your health, wellbeing and the way you feel is your responsibility.
On the DANCEfloor, you should look different - If you’re truly dancing, not copying, you shouldn't be looking like anyone else.
All of these are great ideas but are just ideas until put into practice.
